Apprenticeship as an Industrial Mechanic

As an Industrial Mechanic at Weckenmann, you will manufacture components and assemblies for machines and production systems, ensuring that they are fully operational. Your tasks include producing, assembling, setting up, and testing these devices. In the event of malfunctions, you identify the causes, order suitable replacement parts, or even manufacture them yourself. You are also responsible for the maintenance and repair of machines.

At Weckenmann, you will primarily work with metal components. Your main areas of focus include turning, milling, drilling, and grinding, as well as welding, screwing, assembling, and adjusting mechanical parts.

Your vocational school lessons will take place at the Philipp-Matthäus-Hahn School in Balingen.
