Apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering

As an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, you will install electrical components and systems in areas such as power supply, industrial plant equipment, and modern building systems and automation technology. You will carry out regular maintenance, expand or modernize systems, and perform repairs in the event of faults. You’ll also install cable routing systems, power and data cables, and the electrical equipment of machines including associated automation systems.

You will perform programming, configuration, and testing of systems and safety devices, and you’ll coordinate the installation of systems. When systems are handed over, you’ll instruct future users on how to operate them.

Your first year of training will take place full-time at the vocational school for electrical engineering in Balingen. Starting in the second year, your training will follow the dual education system, alternating between on-the-job training at our company and attending the Philipp-Matthäus-Hahn School in Balingen.
